Unique Art!

The Delaware College of Art & Design is joining the Dover Comic Con for the first time this year. They’ll be in the Biggs Museum of American Art showcasing the many talents of their students. If you’re interested in enrolling in the College, they’ll be able to tell you how to do that, too.  The Biggs Museum is offering free admission during Dover Comic Con. Their exhibits will include works by Wilmington-based Frank E. Schoonover who created the cover art for well known-stories such as Swiss Family Robinson, Gulliver's Travels and Treasure Island and thousands of book illustrations throughout his career. Also featured is Winslow Homer, one of the most important artists of American life in the 1800s. The exhibit includes monochromatic engravings and never-before-exhibited period photographs of his subjects. If you have never visited the Biggs Museum before, now is the perfect time!

There will be move attractions added soon including Cosplay Guests, panels, hands-on activities and more.  We are still finalizing our plans!
