We are inviting all our readers to join us for the opportunity to share your thoughts on our news coverage: what you like, what you don't like and what you feel that we are missing.
On Thursday, Feb. 23, the Delaware State News will play host to the second “Coffee & Conversation with the Publisher.” Readers and other interested individuals are invited to join the conversation by dropping by the Milford Public Library between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.

“We hosted this event in Dover last year. We got some great thoughts from the attendees, so we want to repeat it at a new location. We hope these meetings will provide our readers, whether subscribers or just those who turn to us less frequently, an opportunity to tell us what they enjoy, what they’d like to see more of, and what we can do better,” said Publisher Konrad LaPrade. |
Doors to the library’s Lions Room A on the second floor will open for the event at 4:30 p.m. with coffee and cookies available to snack on as visitors find their seats.
There will be a brief presentation starting at 4:45 p.m., then audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions and to offer comments and suggestions.
“Improving and maintaining a strong connection between our media and our readers, along with the community at-large, is of the utmost importance to us,” LaPrade said. “We are looking forward to this get-together and view it as a means to promote this essential dialogue.”
